Eirka and Dominic first met each other in Huntington Beach so they thought it would be the perfect place for their engagement pictures. I agree! Wedding at Gainey Vineyard

As I said in yesterday’s post fall is just about here and with that comes vineyard weddings! Vineyards, ranches and other rustic venues are my favorite for weddings and among my most favorite is Gainey Vineyard! Needless to say Gainey Vineyard is where Natalie and Rene had their wedding. Palos Verdes Engagement Photography

kari and Stephen’s engagement shoot is one of my top favorites of this year! I love shooting a little beyond depictive portraiture and narrating something more than what somebody looks like. In the case of Kari and Stephen’s engagement shoot I got to do just that! The intent of these photographs is to express the personality and identity of Kari and Stephen. In doing so I used a location personally special to them as well as some live props that relate to their identity. I met Crystal and Matt a few months back at a private event for engaged couples at Lake Oak Meadows in Temecula where they were the winners in a drawing for a free engagement shoot. For Catalina and Derek’s engagement session we simply drove/walked around Laguna Beach and used some of the awesome visuals the city has to offer as our playground. We started somewhat south down on the beach off Victoria, then headed up to PCH and simply walked around exploring the shops and restaurants.
